ZEN ADVANCED WEAPONS SIMULATOR
Zen Advanced Weapons Simulator (Zen AWeSim™) is a modular indoor simulator supporting squad- and platoon-level small arms training. It enables day/night fire, judgmental scenarios, and mission rehearsal on geo-specific terrain. With support for IWTS, AGL, MMG, and ATGM variants, AWeSim™ optimizes training throughput while reducing live-fire costs. Replica weapons with optics, recoil feedback, and AAR tools provide immersive, standards-based instruction aligned with TRADOC guidance.
AWeSim™ supports firing of weapons at ranges from 10m to 2200m. It enables the use of replica telescopic sights and night sights mounted on replica weapon surrogates. Service weapons can also be used through simple reversible modification, providing great flexibility to the user.
AWeSim™ helps train the entire infantry squad in firing exercises and fire control drills. It helps address challenges such as limited live firing ranges, ammunition constraints, time, manpower, wear and tear, and quantification of skill/combat readiness standards.
AWeSim™ offers the following types of small arms training at individual or squad level:
- Range Course Practices including zeroing, grouping, application and classification fire
- Tactical Scenarios, Video Scenarios and Mission Rehearsals on geo-specific replicated operational terrain
- Judgmental shooting and Anti-terrorist training practices
Customization of Training Scenarios:
The simulator offers the features of Scenario Builder, Mission Rehearsals and Judgmental Video Scenarios which can be used to customize the scenarios, terrain, targets and target behavior and facilitate Judgmental training.
Available versions include:
Multiple versions ranging from 2 lane to 12 lane systems housed in rooms or transportable containers are available. These can be multiple weapon or single weapon versions depending on training needs of the user.
- Zen Infantry Weapons Training Simulator (Zen IWTS™). This is a 10 Lane system for all infantry weapons and infantry support weapons excluding ATGM and 81/82mm mortars
- Containerized versions can be provided for 6 Lanes (Zen C-IWTS) or 2 Lanes (Zen C-IWTS)
- Zen Medium Machine Gun Simulator (Zen MMG Sim). This is a 2 Lane system for training MMG crews in all firing procedures and drills
- Zen Automatic Grenade Launcher Simulator (Zen AGL Sim). This is a 2 Lane system for training AGL crews in all firing procedures and drills. providing training for both direct and indirect fire
