Zen ATGM® Simulator is a state-of-the-art indoor anti-tank guided missile pilot training simulator designed to meet the challenging requirements of missile pilots. It offers training from the basic ‘recruit’ level to tactical and advanced levels of training missile pilots in handling and firing the ATGM.  

The simulator trains the pilot in loading the missile, detecting, prioritizing, acquiring, tracking, and engaging targets. The simulator replicates the actual controls of the missile launcher to enhance the training value. The software is adaptable and can be customized for all types of anti-tank guided missile launcher systems. The simulator is rugged and can be taken to remote areas for field training. 

The ATGM Simulator helps alleviate challenges of field firing range availability, high cost of ammunition, missile availability constraints, the lack of appropriate combat targets, time, manpower, wear and tear, and the quantification of skill/combat readiness standards. Using a Replica Launcher and Sight, the ATGM Simulator helps reduce the wear and tear of the ‘in-service’ equipment and save missile costs.

Zen  MIS is an indoor simulator for the comprehensive training of the complete Mortar Platoon on drills and procedures to engage all types of mortar fire targets. The system uses replica  mortars with all types of ammunition in both ground configuration and carrier mortar tracked configuration.  

The system simulates range conditions and weapon performance parameters to facilitate training of the Mortar Fire Controller (MFC)/Forward Observer (FO), Mortar Position Controller (MPC), and the Mortar Detachment Numbers in the conduct of engagement of targets by  mortars. 

The target data is obtained by the MFC/FO from the terrain view projection/map and transmitted to the MPC, who calculates data to be applied by the detachment numbers on the mortars. The data for firing is applied on the replica mortars by the detachment, and the appropriate replica ammunition is loaded and fired. Accuracy of data applied is reflected by the fall of shot depicted on the terrain view projected on the screen and which is observed by the MFC/FO. The entire mortar platoon trains under realistic conditions with realistic replication of the tasks of every member. The simulator facilitates use of the Mortar Task Table. 

The Integrated Mortar Simulator helps alleviate challenges of availability of field firing ranges, constraints of ammunition, time, manpower, wear and tear, and quantification of skill/combat readiness standards.
